Cynthia Brown Robinson,
holds an Asscotiate's degree from Delta College where she studied Small Business Management with a GPA of 3.9. She also is proficient in the use of computers, video cameras, video editing equipment and she is a professional belly dancer, singer and actor.
Robinson originally owned and operated Rainbow Grams, a singing telegram business. A creative CEO, she designed and implemented the company's marketing and advertising campaigns as well as writing the songs and skits performed by the actors, singers and dancers employed by Rainbow Grams.
Before hiring other performers, Robinson peformed all the skits for Rainbow Grams including French Maid, Belly Dancer, Playboy Bunny, Over-the-hill Gang leader, Stripping Pig, Gorrilla (that's not the end, but you get the idea!) She says every woman should own a Playboy Bunny suit just to give her a little boost of self-confidence!
In 1983
, Robinson began assisting her husband, Jim "Ol Grizz" Robinson, in producing his sharpshooting show. Originally this consisted of holding targets that Grizz shot at. Later, again applying her creative writing and marketing experience, she assumed responsibility for developing the show's promotional materials.
After serving three years of video apprenticeship, Robinson began filming Adventures with Ol' Grizz
, an outdoorman's television show that she co-produces with her husband. She has been highly praised as an accomplished "video hunter" by other wildlife videographers, like Ronnie Bradford, as well as hunters who have appeared on the show. Robinson now films most episodes of the show, writes and films all commercials for "Ol Grizz" Productions, and in her spare time writes for newspapers and magazines. Her goal as a videographer is to bring the viewer as close as possible to the feeling of being on an outdoor adventure with Ol' Grizz.
In 1998
, Robinson had her first article published in the National magazine Camcorder/ Computer Video and was featured in Writer's Market, a publication of Writer's Magazine. Since then she has written many articles that have appeared in local newspapers, as well as regional and national magazines.
As of 2000
, Robinson is also editing the shows and ads for Adventures with Ol' Grizz as well as outside clients that she takes on from time to time.
